Psychographics
Succeeder
Blackberry 9900 advert
This advert would relate to the succeeders as this group would normally be high class and management material. Therefore I think this advert would relate to them as blackberry is used by all business men as it gives them esurience knowing they have the latest smart phone. This would also suite them as succeeders choose brands that are well known, therefore they would choose blackberry as they are one of the leading phone companies.
Mainstream
Marks & Spencer
This group would want to seek domestic, conformist, conventional and sentimental. This group would normally be the largest group as there are many people who do not want to take risks. This group would normal be filled with rich people who do not shop at your everyday popular supermarkets. This group could also contain people who want to be seen as high class, and want to be seen as better than others. These people would also avoid confrontation with others and stay away from trouble.
Resigned
Nokia
This group would contain people who would be Rigid, strict, authoritarian and have chauvinist values. This group would be inspired by the past and would follow tradition. This group of people would normally contain the older generation. They would normally stick to a brand they can trust and have relied on in the past many of times. They would suit this advert as Nokia is one of the oldest phone brands. Therefore them not trying new brands as they want to be safe and stay with the one they can trust.
Reformer
D&G
The reformers group would contain people who seek Freedom from restriction, personal growth and social awareness. These people would have attended higher education, therefore searching for products of a high quality. I believe this advert would fit this group as this group of people would want high quality products as they also do not look at finding a cheaper priced product. Also D&G is seen to be a high class brand which many people adore therefore being right for this group. This group would also search for products that are in trend at that time.
Explorer
Kim Kardashian Perfume
Aspirer
Hollister
Strugglers
KFC
This group would contain people who are Heavy consumers of alcohol, eat junk food regularly and buy lottery tickets weekly. I think this advert would relate to this group; however the advert shows a family barging price for junk food, KFC also sells junk food at a cheap price.

Adverts
Rolls-Royce
Rolex
Carlton Draught
I think this advert could be targeted at both men and women. I think this because as they both uses toilet role and want to find the right one for them. However I think this advert is targeted more at women than men as women normally do the shopping. They also try and find the best products. Whereas men are seen to just buy the first product they notice.
Lynx
Cigarettes
I think this advert is targeted more at men than women. I think this because it shows two men smoking while their wife’s are doing the chores. I also think this advert is targeted at men as they represent smoking to be a mans activity. Also this advert is targeted at males rather than females as it is known fact that more men smoke than women.
Hi-fi System
Dyson
This advert is targeted at women as it is a household cleaning device which is generally associated with women. I believe this advert is targeted at women, as women are shown to be the ones in relationships who clean and cook while men go to work. I also believe it is targeted at women as in the moving image the main character is female.
Write The Future (Nike)
I think this advert is targeted more at men than women. I believe this because football is more associated with males rather than females. I also think that this advert is targeted at males as there were mostly male characters in the advert. I also believe this advert is targeted at football fans as Nike want them to purchase their products.
Playstation Move
British Airways
I think this advert is targeted at both men and women. However I also believe this advert is targeted more at families. I believe this as families would be the ideal target market for British Airways as they would be the ones who mostly go on holiday. I also think the use of the female airhosts is used to attract more male customers; who would mainly be business men. I also believe that the music sends a calm vibe out which could be targeted at the female audience as they are worried more about being relaxed during a flight.

Film Language Assessment
WWW - You make some good points in Q2 on representation.
EBI - Q1 is a problem : you dont really answer the question (realism) at all. in general, you haven't got enough depth or detail here. Did you makes notes ? This could be a factor.
LR - Write an extra paragraph for Q1 on how handheld camera was used to create realism.
Pauk Greengrass used handheld camerra to create realism in United 93. the handheld camera is always at eye level for the characters in the film. This creates realism as it is putting the audience into the scene. The handheld camera creates a documentary feeling to the viewers, this then creating realism. The handheld cameras close up enables us to understand the emotion of the characters, this then creating realism.

Fish Tank Review
Fish Tank Review
Director
The director of Fish Tank was Andrea Arnold, who was born on the 5th of April 196. She is an Academy award winning filmmaker and former actress from England, who made her trademark film in 2006 with Red Road. After retiring from her career as a television presenter Andrea Arnold studied directing at the prestigious AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles and trained in screenwriting at the PAL Labs in Kent. Andrea Arnold early short films included Milk (1998) and Dog (2001). She won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film for Wasp, in 2005. She was also named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow.
Main Stars
The two main characters of the movie were Katie Jarvis (female character) and Michael Fassbender (male character).
Katie Jarvis was seen by a casting agent working for director Andrea Arnold at Tilbury Town railway station in Tilbury, Essex, following an argument with her boyfriend, Brian. She was then approached by the casting agent and at first did not believe she was being cast for a film and refused to hand over her phone number. She then eventually took a number and called it. She was then casted in Andrea Arnold's film, Fish Tank, following a successful audition. This was despite having no previous acting experience.
Michael Fassbender is most is well-known for three roles, having played Lieutenant Archie Hicox, in Inglourious Basterds (2009), Magneto, in X-Men (2011) and the android David, In Prometheus (2012).
Plot
Mia Williams (played by Katie Jarvis) is a troubled 15-year-old who has lived a hard life. She lives on an East London council estate with her single mother, Joanne, and younger sister, Tyler, and is highly aggressive toward both of them. Mia Williams dream is to become a dancer professionally but no support from her mum. However her mums boyfriend, Connor O'Reily (Played by Michael Fassbender), who is very fond of her, some may think he was trying to take advantage of her by being supportive. However he then has sex with her. Mia Williams then finds out that her lover and mums boyfriend has a wife and a daughter. This then aggravates the troubled teenager who then kidnaps the daughter, then later on returning her only to be found out by Connor O’Reily. She then shows up to her dancing audition realising it is a job for a pole dancer, she then leaves as it was not what she had thought it would have been. Mia Williams then makes her dramatic exit with her friend Liam (Jason Maza), as she leaves for Scotland to start a new life.
Katie Jarvis as Mia Williams
Kierston Wareing as Joanne Williams
Michael Fassbender as Connor O'Reily
Rebecca Griffiths as Tyler Williams
Harry Treadaway as Billy
Sydney Mary Nash as Keira O'Reily
Sarah Bayes as Keely
I think the most effective character was Katie Jarvis (Mia Williams). I believe this because she had never had any experience of acting before this certain roll. But however did an excellent job with her role, also as being the main character.
Genre
The genre of Fish Tank was, coming of age, Indie and Drama. My expectations of the Film were that the main character Mia Williams (Katie Jarvis) would live her dream and become famous dancer. However that was not the case as the film was trying to tell us that dreams do not always come true in reality. This would relate back to how Katie Jarvis actually got the role for fish tank. My other expectation of the film was that the Mother and the daughter would end on good terms which they did. I think the mood of the film was sad for most of the film but however the mood changed towards the end of the film as she left to start a new life. I think the mood of the film was sad as Mia Williams had lived a hard life and is a troubled teenager who has no support from her single mum.
Sound Track
I noticed the sound track for Fish Tank when, Connor O'Reily (Michael Fassbender) played it from his car in attempt to educate Mia Williams (Katie Jarvis), who then started to dance to the song. My opinion of the soundtrack was, it seemed to be a relaxing sound and not really one you would dance to as Mia Williams did in her dance audition. I think the sound track created atmosphere when Mia Williams was auditioning for the dance role, as she knew she had made a wrong judgement on the job.
